JCGC Announces New Cemetery Dedication
JCGC is pleased to announce the dedication of our new cemetery on June 4, 2017 at 4:00 pm. The cemetery is located at 712 Loveland-Miamiville Road in Loveland.
JCGC purchased this 23-acre property in December 2011 to develop as a community cemetery, with sections dedicated to the Orthodox, Conservative and Reform communities. The site is in a convenient location, about a mile from the Ward’s Corner exit off I-275. It is less than 10 minutes from Weil Funeral Home and 20 minutes from Amberley Village. The property will provide 100 years of burials, so the Cincinnati Jewish community will not have to make another property purchase for several generations.
JCGC broke ground on the project in August 2015. JDL Warm Construction is the General Contractor. Their work included clearing and earthwork, installation of site utilities and asphalt paving and was completed in the fall of 2016. Landscaping and layout of the grave sites in the initial phases of the Orthodox, Conservative and Reform sections were done this fall, with additional landscaping being completed next spring.
We invite the entire community to join us for the dedication next June 4th. Mark your calendar now!
